I think the majority of people like travelling. Exotic destinations have been quite popular resonantly, so I thought I would give you a small inside of what my trip to Goa looked like.
My family and I decided we wanted to spend our Christmas somewhere exotic, somewhere where we could gather a bit of knowledge about what lays beyond our comfort zone. So we chose Goa, since spending Christmas on the beach was as far away from our comfort zone as we could go.
So here are my 5 for Goa:
#5 things you have to pack for Goa:
- swimsuit, because Goa is 99% beach
-summer clothes ( don't bother packing jackets, a scarf would do for the windy nights)
-a camera - the view is absolutely breathtaking
- a hat - it gets really hot in Goa, take my word for it, you don't want to go out without a hat
-suncream - you can easily get the worst sunburn in your entire life just by laying at the beach for 30 minutes
#5 places to stay/visit/eat in Goa
-the islands - there are not far away and even tho I didn't manage to go, I am sure it will be totally worth it. If you are into diving, that's your place to go.
-Joet's - this is a guesthouse literally 5 feet from the ocean, it is cheap and they offer the best beaf I have ever eaten - a must restaurant.
-The coconut creek - a piece of paradise (a hotel )very close to the Joet's. The prices are a bit high, I must add, but the place is totally worth it.
-the shops at the beach - they sell cheap stuff and are the best place to get your souvenirs and presents for loved ones.
- the aircraft museum - it's located in the city, but you can easily take a walk and skip the expensive taxis.
-the beach - this one is really obvious, but what I mean is, you should go take walks in the morning, it's the best way to start your day.
Overall, Goa is beautiful and is more of a chill place, since it's all about getting tanned, eating good food and enjoying nature. But isn't that, in the end, all vacations are about?
Lot's of love,
AXD.
